Our Commitment
Golden Glass of Gainesville, Inc. is committed to improving access to its website, information, and online contact options for people with disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Website content, browser technology, assistive technology, plugins, and third-party services change over time, so the site is reviewed and improved as issues are identified.
Accessibility Standard
Our working goal is to make the website reasonably usable in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly called WCAG, with WCAG 2.2 Level AA used as the current reference point where reasonably applicable.
These guidelines address areas such as text alternatives, keyboard access, readable contrast, meaningful structure, understandable navigation, form identification, visible focus, and compatibility with assistive technologies.
Referencing an accessibility standard describes our improvement goal. It is not a representation that every page or third-party component will be free of every accessibility issue at all times.
Accessibility Measures
The website is designed and maintained with attention to:
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls
- Visible keyboard focus indicators
- Logical heading structure and page landmarks
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Readable typography and color contrast
- Descriptive links and buttons
- Form labels, instructions, and error identification
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and smaller screens
- Content that does not rely solely on color for meaning
- Reduced dependence on unnecessary motion or animation
Browser and Assistive-Technology Compatibility
The website is intended to work with current versions of commonly used browsers, operating systems, screen readers, screen magnification tools, speech-recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation.
Older browsers or uncommon combinations of assistive technology may display or operate some features differently. Updating the browser and assistive technology may improve compatibility.
Third-Party Content
Some website functions, including the online estimate form, may be provided by a third party. Golden Glass does not control every aspect of third-party platforms, but accessibility concerns involving those services are taken seriously.
Anyone who cannot use the online form may call (352) 615-5910 to request assistance or provide project information through an alternative method.
Requesting Assistance
If a website feature, document, image, form, or page creates an accessibility barrier, please contact Golden Glass. Reasonable efforts will be made to provide the requested information or service through an accessible alternative.
When reporting an issue, it is helpful to include the page address, a description of the problem, the browser or assistive technology being used, and the best way to respond.
Accessibility Feedback
Accessibility questions, concerns, and requests may be submitted through the website contact page or by calling (352) 615-5910.
